How do I join the Investment Club?
In order to become a member, you must purchase at least one (1) share of our fund. Further information about the current fund holdings and share price can be found here. To purchase shares, please send a check through campus mail payable to “Duke Business Club” to Jay Schulhof at Box 99517. For further questions, contact james.schulhof@duke.edu .
How can I become more involved in the club?
The best way to gain experience with the club is to attend our regular meetings and apply to become an Analyst with the club. For more information on the Analyst Program and how to become involved, click here.
Are there any dues for the club?
There are no dues for the investment club – the only requirement for membership is the ownership of one or more shares of our fund. As long as you are an investor within the fund, you are considered an active member. You are welcome to cash out your position at the end of each semester if you would like to leave the club.

How do I sell my shares?

I want to work in Investment Banking – do I need to be an Economics Major?
Being an economics major is not necessary for a job in Investment Banking or Management Consulting. Companies often hire people who demonstrate passion and drive, as well as a genuine interest in business and the financial markets.
